• Hear Wheaton Author Manny Mill Discuss His Spiritual Journey at First Presbyterian Church’s March 16 Pause & Enrich

Aurora, Ill., March 2, 2006 (The Religion Wire™ ) — It’s more than a memoir, it’s his true story of transformation from Cuba to America; despair to hope ; felon to activist/mentor — come to First Presbyterian Church’s Pause and Enrich on Thursday, March 16, noon. Hear author Manny Mill discuss his book – Radical Redemption : The Real Story of Manny Mill (August 2003, Moody Publishers). He will also sign books. FPC is located at 325 E. Downer Place, Aurora.

Radical Redemption coverMill is the founder and director of Koinonia House National Ministries, Wheaton, Ill.

In 1990, Manny Mill started Koinonia House, a post-prison ministry to bridge the gap from prison to the local church. Radical Redemption details the amazing journey Mill took from Cuba to running from the FBI in Venezuela to running into the arms of Jesus Christ. Radically changed by his conversion and prison experience, he received great assistance from Prison Fellowship and has used these opportunities to make an enormous impact around this nation and the world.

Pause and Enrich is scheduled each month with a book author or other reviewer on the third Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. Individuals bring a bag lunch with beverages provided. Pause and Enrich is “a special hour to nourish the mind, body, and soul.” It is “a time where books, faith, and a brown bag lunch meet.”
